Red lead
Product Description
Red lead is a bright orange-red powder or bulk solids, it does not dissolve in water, but soluble in hot alkali, dilute nitric acid, acetic acid, hydrochloric acid. It is a toxic chemical.
Chemical properties
Non-flammable, stable at room temperature, high temperature can be decomposed into lead oxide, is a strong oxidant.
Application :
1)use to produce the system battery, glass, pottery, ceramics, and as a protective anti-rust paint and iron surface, and synthetic organic dyes and other oxidants .
2)Red paint, for a large number of steel, ships and bridges and other paint
3)Red lead powder and linseed oil mixed into the putty can be used to seal plumbing pipe joints
Storage Precautions :
Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Away from fire and heat. Storage temperature does not exceed 30 °C, relative humidity less than 80%. Should be the reducing agent, food chemicals stored separately sealed. Storage areas should be equipped with suitable host material spill
